Mr. Santiago

Lead Instructor for Robotics

Mr. Santiago currently teaches at North Shore Hebrew Academy High School in Manhasset, where he is the lead instructor for the school’s STEM program. He has a strong background in VEX and LEGO robotics and programming.

Mr. Kim

Robotics Instructor

Mr. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has over 10 years of teaching/tutoring experience. He has been teaching LEGO classes at Cheng Shi Education for 3 years and is highly appreciated by students.

Mr. Yuen

Lead Instructor for Java Course

Mr. Yuen earned his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2001. He worked for over 20 years as a senior software engineer in major U.S. companies and is highly proficient in Java.

Mr. Rubin

Lead Instructor for Python & C++

Mr. Rubin holds degrees from Stony Brook University and New York University and has over 30 years of experience as a software engineer. He is experienced in Java, Python, and C++ and has extensive teaching experience.

Mr. Huang

Lead AMC Teacher

Mr. Huang has taught mathematics for over 20 years on Long Island and specializes in AMC 8 and AMC 10/12 preparation. Many of his students qualified for AIME, with one reaching USAMO in 2018.

Mr. Moon

Lead Fencing Coach

Mr. Moon has served as head fencing coach for Syosset boys and girls teams for 7 years. He was named Coach of the Year in Long Island in 2023 after leading his team to a championship.

Mr. Alin

Tennis Coach

Mr. Alin is from Romania and was a member of the Romania Junior National Team. He came to the U.S. on a tennis scholarship, competed in NCAA tennis, and has coached for over 20 years. Many of his students become high school tennis team players, and some have earned admission to strong colleges through tennis.

Mr. Schools

Soccer Head Coach

Mr. Schools is a former professional soccer player from the UK with extensive coaching experience. He has served as head coach and director of player development for multiple Long Island soccer programs.

Mr. Colwell

Basketball Head Coach

Mr. Colwell is a former professional basketball player with European league experience. He has coached high school varsity teams and youth leagues for over 20 years.

Mr. Pizzolo

American Football Head Coach

Mr. Pizzolo played professional football in Europe and later coached youth and high school programs. He has served as offensive coordinator and line coach at multiple New York high schools.
